Products and Solutions
The Precision Division is a leader in applying volume production methods to specialty, ultra-precision miniature and instrument (m&i) ball bearings. Its advanced manufacturing technologies and process control systems enable Precision to supply customers with unique and cost-effective solutions, especially in high-speed and low-torque applications, without sacrificing precision and performance. Precision is leveraging its customer-focused production capabilities by expanding into medium size ball bearings and airframe control products.
Miniature & Instrument Ball Bearings
Radial and angular contact types with standard variations featuring flanges, shields & seals, extended inner rings, and modified dimensions; bore sizes up to 0.8750 inches (22.225mm) for Inch series and 25mm (0.9843 inches) for Metric series.
Medium Size Precision Ball Bearings
Metric series radial type bearings up to 76mm (3.00 in.) outer diameter; special design features include anti-rotation tabs, outer ring bolt flanges, and extended inner rings.
Thin Section Ball Bearings
Family of Inch series thin section bearings in radial and angular contact ring configurations; bore sizes for torque tube up to 2.0625 inches (52.388mm) and 1.2500 inches (31.750mm) for Thinex.
Precision Mechanical Subassemblies
Next-level bearing solutions involving the complete production and assembly of precision bearings and mating components; high precision manufacturing with full control of stack-up tolerances among components.
Airframe Control Ball Bearings
Standard and precision grades manufactured and inspected to Aerospace Standards SAE AS7949 and customer requirements. Materials are AISI 52100 and AISI 440C with optional plating in cadmium and zinc-nickel.
