Peterborough, NH – New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) is pleased to announce it has entered into an authorized distributor agreement with ADEPT Fasteners to market NHBB aircraft bearing products.

ADEPT Fasteners is a stocking distributor of fasteners and bearings for the airframe, engine, military, and satellite industries. Headquartered in Valencia, California, ADEPT has eight locations in the United States and Canada, an office in the United Kingdom, and a global network of sales representatives in Brazil, China, Korea, India, Israel, and Italy.

Peterborough, NH – New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) is pleased to announce it has entered into an authorized distributor agreement with KLX Aerospace Solutions to market NHBB aircraft bearing products.

KLX Aerospace Solutions is a leading distributor and value added service provider of aerospace fasteners, bearings and consumables for the global aerospace industry. Headquartered in Miami, FL, KLX Aerospace Solutions has nineteen locations in the United States and Canada and another eighteen locations throughout Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

For eight winters NHBB HiTech has been burning wood pellets to heat its 230,000 sq. ft. facility. This sustained commitment to modern wood heating has earned HiTech an official commendation from the New Hampshire Wood Energy Council (NHWEC).

During the heating season, from November to April, HiTech burns approximately 60 to 70 tons of pellets in total, which has enabled the division to reduce its use of nonrenewable fossil fuel heating oil by 70,000 gallons, annually.

On Saturday, September 24th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) is hosting a job fair at its facility located in Peterborough, NH. Job seekers are invited to visit the facility in order to learn more about the company and its growth plans, tour the factory, fill out a job application, and meet with key hiring personnel. For qualified candidates, the job fair is an excellent way to accelerate the hiring process.

Chatsworth, California: The Precision Division is pleased to introduce Kayvan Alavi and Sean Cook, two mechanical engineers who were hired in the spring to fill openings in the Applications Engineering department. Kayvan and Sean are responsible for working closely with customers on bearing designs for new applications in the aerospace, medical, dental, and other high tech industrial markets.

Peterborough, NH: A special Open House was held on June 2nd at the Peterborough Community Center to honor six area high school students who completed the elective course Manufacturing Principles and Processes.

The course was developed through a partnership between NHBB's HiTech Division and Conval High School in Peterborough, NH. It was open to high school juniors and seniors who are interested in exploring career opportunities in manufacturing. Students attended classes three days each week at the High School and two days at NHBB.

Forty more Boeing-licensed spare parts manufactured by the HiTech Division in Peterborough, NH were granted Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) by the FAA.

NHBB is a licensee of the Boeing company for various airframe control bearings and has attained Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to manufacture and sell Boeing spare parts for use on Boeing type-certificated aircraft. Boeing PMA parts manufactured by NHBB are sold to the MRO market through NHBB’s Authorized Distributors.

NHBB was granted Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) for 28 more Boeing-licensed spare parts. This latest round of approvals pertains to Boeing airframe control bearings (BACB) manufactured by the HiTech Division in Peterborough, NH.

April 11, 2016 (Chatsworth, CA): David Weitzel assumed the role of Operations Manager of the Precision Division on April 1, 2016. He succeeds Paul Spencer, who held the position for twenty-two years before he announced his retirement at the end of 2016. Until then, Paul is staying on as a part-time Senior Advisor.

March 29, 2016 (Peterborough, NH): The HiTech Division of New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) is conducting walk-in job interviews every Thursday between the hours of 10:00 am and 6:00 pm at NHBB’s facility located at 175 Jaffrey Road, Peterborough, NH.

NHBB is hiring both entry level and experienced machine operators for second and third shifts at the Peterborough, NH facility. Job candidates are encouraged to complete the on-line application prior to interviewing.
