Peterborough, New Hampshire – A top performing sales and business development executive from NHBB’s sister company in the United States is now the Sales Director for New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB).
Cathie Anderson came from NMB Technologies Corporation (NMBTC) to NHBB in November of 2017 to oversee a field sales organization that today consists of seven key account executives, eight territory sales professionals, a territory sales manager, a distribution sales manager, and a field applications engineer.
Her team is responsible for selling not just NHBB’s products but all machined component solutions offered by the MinebeaMitsumi Group, which includes a diverse mix of plain bearings, rolling element bearings, machined parts, next-up assemblies and fasteners, as well as contract manufacturing goods and services.
All told, the NHBB sales organization represents twelve different manufacturing divisions that employ over 4,300 workers, operate in eight different countries throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, and support customers in the aerospace, defense, food & beverage, medical device, orthopedic, semiconductor, and other high tech. industries.
Cathie is no stranger to the challenges posed by representing a global conglomeration of manufacturers. As a leading sales executive for NMBTC, she successfully developed business in a variety of industries for MinebeaMitsumi’s electronic devices and components manufacturing divisions. This part of the business manufactures fans, motors, sensing devices, lighting devices, bearing and mechanical assemblies for customers in such industries as HDD, consumer electronics and peripherals, medical devices, and smart urban networks.
Cathie has over 26 years of experience in sales and sales management, 19 of which have been with NMBTC. She joined NMBTC in 1998 as a Senior Sales Representative for OEM customers. She progressed quickly to Global Account Manager, assuming greater responsibility by demonstrating highly developed skills in contract negotiation, account management, and sales force coaching and mentoring.
She solidified her reputation as a leading Global Accounts Manager by developing new business with such tech industry giants such as HP, Seagate, and Microsoft.
In her most recent position as Business Unit Manager for NMBTC, Cathie led a multi regional account team while continuing to direct strategic relationships with key OEM accounts. Ultimately, she was responsible for over $370 million in worldwide sales revenue.
