Occupational Health and Safety

Keeping our workplaces safe for our employees.

Safety is a constant focus at every level of our company.

Safety within our facilities and in the local community is fundamental to one of our management principles, which is to be a company where our employees are proud to work. NHBB is committed to protecting the health and well-being of our employees, visitors, and community. We also dedicate ourselves to the continuous improvement of our occupational health and safety performance.

To strengthen our health and safety programs, we empowered an EHS committee to develop and implement a management system based on the ISO 18001 model. The committee's short-term goal is to achieve this certification within a year of its inception.  The committee has also embarked upon an aggressive auditing and best-management-practice development program involving staff from each division.

For a deeper understanding of our approach to safety, read the policy statement published below.
