NHBB's Marcin Awarded Internationally Recognized Certification

December 12, 2005 -- Peterborough, NH. The HiTech Division of New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) in Peterborough, is proud to announce that Donna Marcin, Human Resources Manager, has obtained her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).

The HRCI is an independent, internationally recognized certifying body for the human resources profession which requires its members to demonstrate their expertise in the core principles of the human resource practice and the application of those principles. This certification signifies wide-ranging theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management.

NHBB HiTech Operations Manager, Dick Reynells, praised Marcin’s certification by saying, “Donna is the consummate professional who chose to pursue this certification on her own initiative, further demonstrating her commitment to her career.” He added, “Donna’s dedication to NHBB and interpersonal skills have enabled her to enjoy a great measure of respect from both our employees and NHBB management…we are all very proud of Donna’s accomplishment.”

Marcin has been with New Hampshire Ball Bearings for fifteen years and has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Francis University (PA), having later studied Human Resource Management at Southern New Hampshire University. She observed, “This certification was the most comprehensive resource available…Human Resource Management is a continuously evolving area of expertise and I feel I owe it to both the employees of NHBB and myself to stay on top of the latest theories and techniques…the reference materials that I was able to obtain throughout these challenging three months will be an invaluable tool for me to utilize in my day to day practice at NHBB.”
